R. 10678 To permit the Byrne JAG grant to be used for the purchase of fentanyl testing kits and opioid reversal agents. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES October 1, 2026 Mr. Kean (for himself, Mr. Van Drew, Mr. Garbarino, and Mr. Lawler) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To permit the Byrne JAG grant to be used for the purchase of fentanyl testing kits and opioid reversal agents. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Fight Against Fentanyl Act''. SEC. 2. FENTANYL TESTING KITS AND OPIOID REVERSAL AGENTS. Section 501(a)(1)(E) of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (34 U.S.C. 10152(a)(1)(E)) is amended by inserting ``, including programs to purchase fentanyl testing kits and opioid reversal agents'' before the period. <all>
