General questions, press, and feedback

For anything that does not fit a specific category below — product feedback, partnership inquiries, press questions, civic-education collaboration, technical issues with the Site, or just to say hello — email admin@govwatch.com.

We are not affiliated with any political party, candidate, PAC, or government agency. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored explainers, or off-the-record briefings that condition coverage. See our About page for the full editorial posture.

Report a data error or correction

Found something wrong — a misattributed vote, an out-of-date member profile, a bill that's actually been enacted but still shows as pending, a broken Congress.gov link, a misclassified statement? Please tell us.

The fastest way for us to fix an error is for you to include:

  • The full URL of the page where you saw the problem.
  • What is shown today and what you believe it should say.
  • A link to a source (Congress.gov, the FEC, GovInfo, the member's own site) we can use to verify.

Send corrections to admin@govwatch.com with the subject line Correction: followed by the page URL. We prioritise corrections over new features and will reply when the change is live or when we have asked for more detail.

Privacy and data-subject requests

For requests under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws — access, deletion, objection to processing, opt-out of sale/sharing — email admin@govwatch.com. We respond within 30 days as required by law. See the Privacy Policy for what we collect (very little) and our retention defaults.

Tip-offs and source material

If you have evidence of misconduct we have not surfaced — a public ethics filing, a court document, a campaign-finance pattern we have missed — we want to hear from you. Email admin@govwatch.com with the documents and any public-source links. We surface only publicly documented allegations and consequences; we do not publish anonymous accusations or unverified material.

For takedown notices, subpoenas, or other formal legal correspondence: admin@govwatch.com with the subject line Legal: followed by a short description. See our Terms of Service for governing law and dispute procedure.

Response times

We are a small team. Expect 2 business days for most messages, longer during congressional recesses or release cycles. Data corrections jump the queue. Privacy and legal requests are tracked separately and answered within the windows their respective laws require.
