R. 10735 To amend the Federal Crop Insurance Act to require certain types of cattle to be included in a livestock pilot program, and for other purposes. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES October 5, 2026 Mr. Evans of Colorado introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Agriculture _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To amend the Federal Crop Insurance Act to require certain types of cattle to be included in a livestock pilot program, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. COVERAGE OF CERTAIN CATTLE UNDER LIVESTOCK PILOT PROGRAM. Section 523(b)(1) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act (7 U.S.C. 1523(b)) is amended by inserting after ``cattle'' the following: ``(including, beginning with crop year 2027, bred cattle, replacement heifers, and cull cattle)''. <all>
