Ensuring Federal Purchasing Efficiency Act This bill requires the Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council to adjust certain acquisition-related dollar thresholds for inflation every three years instead of every five years. For example, the federal government uses less complex procedures for the purchase of property and services valued below the simplified acquisition threshold . Under the bill, this threshold would be adjusted for inflation every three years.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Ensuring Federal Purchasing Efficiency Act''. SEC. 2. ENSURING FEDERAL PURCHASING EFFICIENCY THROUGH ADJUSTMENT OF CERTAIN ACQUISITION-RELATED DOLLAR THRESHOLDS EVERY 3 YEARS. Section 1908(c)(2) of title 41, United States Code, is amended by striking ``of each year evenly divisible by 5'' and inserting ``, 2028, and every 3 years thereafter''. <all>
