[Congressional Bills 119th Congress] [From the U.S. Government Publishing Office] [S. 5241 Introduced in Senate (IS)] <DOC> 119th CONGRESS 2d Session S. 5241 To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 200 1st Avenue Southeast in Austin, Minnesota, as the ``John Madden Memorial Post Office''. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES August 4, 2026 Ms. Klobuchar (for herself and Ms. Smith) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 200 1st Avenue Southeast in Austin, Minnesota, as the ``John Madden Memorial Post Office''. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. JOHN MADDEN MEMORIAL POST OFFICE. (a) Designation.--The facility of the United States Postal Service located at 200 1st Avenue Southeast in Austin, Minnesota, shall be known and designated as the ``John Madden Memorial Post Office''. (b) References.--Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the facility referred to in subsection (a) shall be deemed to be a reference to the ``John Madden Memorial Post Office''. <all>
