R. 10717 To amend title 10, United States Code, to provide wigs to TRICARE beneficiaries with alopecia, including alopecia caused by chemotherapy, and for other purposes. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES October 1, 2026 Mr. Vindman (for himself and Ms. Pressley) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Armed Services _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To amend title 10, United States Code, to provide wigs to TRICARE beneficiaries with alopecia, including alopecia caused by chemotherapy, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Wigs for Warriors Act''. SEC. 2. AMENDMENT TO PROVIDE WIGS TO TRICARE BENEFICIARIES WITH COVERED CONDITIONS. Section 1074c of title 10, United States Code, is amended-- (1) by striking ``resulting from the treatment of a malignant disease may'' and inserting ``caused by a health condition other than androgenic alopecia, or the treatment of a health condition, shall''; and (2) by striking ``if the person has not previously been furnished one''. <all>
