Plain-English Summary

The Transportation Security Administration would be allowed to expand and continue a program that offers screening services at airports and other transportation facilities, with costs reimbursed by the organizations that request these services rather than paid entirely by taxpayers. This could affect airports, airlines, and other transportation companies that use TSA screening, as well as travelers who may see changes in how security screening is provided or funded. The expansion would give TSA more flexibility to offer these services beyond their current scope.
